Groundworker

Groundworker (Plymouth) – Fulltime An opportunity to work on our MOD project in Plymouth, delivering major redevelopment works over the coming years. PAYE basis Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays) Must Have: * Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card * Level 2 NVQ Construction & Civil Engineering Operations (Groundworks) or Level 2 NVQ in Groundworks * Must have logistics/plant operative experience * Blue CPCS Card desirable * Safety Critical Medical preferred * Previous experience working on major construction or infrastructure projects * Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Reliable and proactive approach to work * Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance * Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years This role is site based - Monday to Friday 45 hours per week 07:30am - 17:00pm Key Responsibilities: * Carry out general groundworks duties across the project * Assist with excavation, drainage, concrete and other groundwork activities * Support logistics and plant operations as required * Work safely around plant, machinery and other site activities * Read and work from drawings and site instructions * Assist with the preparation and maintenance of work areas * Work closely with supervisors, engineers and other site teams * Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area * Comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures * Support the successful delivery of major MOD infrastructure works Some Benefits: Pension Safe working environment Secure regular income Lodge/Digs can be available.
