The role involves nationwide deliveries of meat products, including carcass meat, requiring a good level of physical fitness and a strong commitment to health, safety, and customer service standards.With competitive pay, regular weekday work, and opportunities to significantly increase earnings through overtime, night-out allowances, and performance bonuses, this role offers both stability and reward.Key Responsibilities Safely operate Class 1 or Class 2 vehicles on nationwide delivery routesLoad and unload meat carcass products where requiredComplete deliveries efficiently and in line with scheduled timesCarry out daily vehicle checks and report any defectsMaintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthinessComplete all delivery documentation accurately and on timeProvide excellent customer service when delivering to customers nationwideAdhere to all transport legislation, driver hours regulations, and company proceduresFollow food safety and hygiene standards at all timesSupport the wider transport operation as requiredWhat We're Looking For Valid HGV Class 1 (CE) or Class 2 (Category C) licenceValid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph CardMinimum 12 months' HGV driving experience preferredPhysically fit and comfortable with manual handling dutiesFlexible approach to early starts and nationwide routesExcellent understanding of driver hours and transport complianceStrong communication and customer service skillsReliable, punctual, and able to work independentlyPositive attitude and professional appearanceSalary & Benefits Annual salary from £32,011.20 to £48,800Overtime paid at £22.50 per hour£50 performance bonus opportunities£26.20 tax-free night out allowanceRegular Monday to Friday working patternPermanent, full-time employmentWeekly or monthly pay options availableCompany pension schemeSupportive and friendly family-run environmentLong-term career stability with a respected industry employerWhy Apply?
