AV ManagerLocation Kenilworth, WarwickshireSalary: £28,000 - £30,000 depending on experienceOTE: £34,000+ with overtime and bonus availableHealth and wellbeing benefits.Company mobile phone.Company laptop.Employee discounts.Company events.Cycle to Work scheme.Free or discounted food.Free/on-site parking.Childcare benefits.Working HoursThis is a permanent, full-time position.Standard working hours are generally 08:00-17:00 , Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break.The RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an AV Manager to join the team at a busy and prestigious hotel conference and events venue in Kenilworth. you must have a full driving licenceThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality audio visual services across a wide range of conferences, meetings, corporate events and live productions. This is a hands-on, client-facing position combining technical expertise, event delivery, team leadership and commercial awareness.You will work closely with the hotel's Sales, Events and Operations teams to ensure all events are delivered to a consistently high standard, while identifying opportunities to enhance the client experience through additional AV services.You will also oversee an on-site AV technician and coordinate freelance technical support when required.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate all AV requirements for conferences, meetings and events.Build strong relationships with clients and identify opportunities to increase AV revenue.Provide technical advice and support to the hotel's Sales and Events teams.Ensure AV equipment is installed, tested and presented to a high standard.Prepare event proposals and quotations where required.Manage on-site AV equipment, stock and technical resources.Maintain event schedules and weekly cost reports.Manage smaller projects and provide support on larger-scale events.Work closely with Hotel Operations to ensure event spaces are fully AV-ready.Manage and support the on-site technician.Coordinate freelance technicians when additional support is required.Provide AV support to additional venues when required.About YouThe ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in the live events industry, with practical experience across audio visual technology and event production.You will ideally have:Previous experience in an AV, live events or hotel conference environment.Hands-on technical knowledge of AV, sound, lighting, staging or related event equipment.Experience working within the hotel conference and events sector.Strong client-facing and communication skills.The ability to manage your own workload and work independently.Good people management and leadership skills.A proactive approach with the confidence to use your own initiative.A professional and well-presented manner.Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering a high-quality service.A hardworking, enthusiastic and flexible approach.The ability to work additional hours and at short notice when required.A full UK driving licence.Good IT skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and Visio.Knowledge of Hiretrack would be advantageous.For more information reach out to Louise Wright Director of EventsTPBN1_UKTJ
