Warehouse Cleaner

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for Cleaners to work at a large distribution site based in Waltham Abbey, EN9.Key ResponsibilitiesClean and maintain plant rooms, engineering areas, and service corridors.Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove dust, dirt, debris, and spillages.Clean around HVAC systems, pumps, compressors, electrical cabinets, and other plant equipment (where safe and authorised).Empty waste bins and dispose of waste in accordance with site procedures.Ensure floors, walls, doors, and fixtures are kept clean and presentable.Report leaks, damage, hazards, or maintenance issues to the supervisor.Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with COSHH guidelines.Maintain cleaning records and complete checklists as required.Follow all site health and safety procedures, including PPE requirements.Support periodic deep-cleaning activities and shutdown cleans.Work safely in industrial environments while respecting restricted and controlled access areas.Health & Safety ResponsibilitiesWear required PPE including safety footwear, high-visibility clothing, gloves, eye protection, and hearing protection where necessary.Follow safe systems of work and risk assessments.Report accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions immediately.Ensure cleaning activities do not create hazards for warehouse or engineering staff.Comply with all company policies and environmental standards.Skills and ExperienceExperience in industrial, warehouse, or commercial cleaning environments.Good understanding of health and safety procedures.Ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules.Good attention to detail.Reliable and punctual.Working 6am-6pm 4 or 5 shifts per week.£12.71 per hourOngoing workJDR is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all backgrounds.JDRNorthWestWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds.
