Competitive Salary + Bonus + Excellent BenefitsThe Opportunity An industry-leading specialist contractor is looking to appoint a Site Engineer to join one of the UK's largest and most technically challenging infrastructure projects.Working on major ground engineering, diaphragm wall and soil improvement packages , you'll play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure while gaining experience on a nationally significant clean energy programme.The Role As Site Engineer, you'll take ownership of day-to-day engineering activities across your allocated workfronts, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You'll work closely with site management, commercial, quality and engineering teams within a collaborative NEC4 Alliance environment.Key Responsibilities Site Engineering & Delivery Manage day-to-day engineering activities across assigned workfrontsCoordinate labour, plant, subcontractors and materialsEnsure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, RAMS and ITPsMaintain accurate site records, engineering documentation and technical reportsResolve site engineering issues and support construction teamsHealth, Safety & Quality Promote a strong safety culture across siteDeliver daily briefings and toolbox talksEnsure compliance with permits and safe systems of workManage inspections, testing and quality documentationProduce as-built records and assist with project handover documentationPlanning & Programme Maintain short-term and look-ahead programmesMonitor progress against programme milestonesIdentify risks, constraints and opportunities to improve deliverySupport recovery planning where requiredAssist with productivity reporting and sequencing of worksCommercial & Contracts Support procurement and subcontractor managementRaise and manage Early Warnings and change notificationsAssist with Compensation Events and commercial reportingEnsure compliance with NEC4 contract proceduresSupport cost control and project reportingTeamwork & Development Work closely with project managers, engineers and commercial teamsSupervise operatives, subcontractors and junior engineers where requiredMentor graduates and apprenticesBuild positive working relationships across the project teamAbout You We're looking for someone with:Degree (or equivalent) in Civil or Geotechnical EngineeringExperience working as a Site Engineer on major civil engineering or infrastructure projectsKnowledge of ground engineering, diaphragm walls or soil improvement worksExperience working under NEC contracts (NEC4 desirable)Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsStrong organisational and record-keeping skillsCSCS and SSSTS or SMSTSExperience using AutoCAD, MS Project or P6, CEMAR and Microsoft OfficeDesirable 2-5 years' experience in a Site Engineer or Section Engineer roleFirst Aid qualificationAppointed Person qualificationAlliance project experienceExperience with NEC4 Early Warnings and Compensation EventsWhat's On Offer Competitive salaryAnnual performance bonusPrivate Medical InsuranceLife Assurance & Income ProtectionEnhanced pension contributionEnhanced sick pay25 days annual leave + bank holidays (increasing with service)Buy additional annual leaveProfessional memberships paidEmployee Assistance ProgrammeStructured training and career developmentLong-term opportunities to progress within a leading specialist engineering contractorThis is an outstanding opportunity to join a market-leading geotechnical contractor and play a key role in delivering one of the UK's flagship infrastructure projects while developing your career on technically challenging ground engineering works.TPBN1_UKTJ
