Job Description
CNC ProgrammerWe are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. The successful candidate will create, optimize, and validate CNC programs to support production of precision components, using industry-leading CAM/CAD tools.Key responsibilities- Produce and optimize CNC programs for milling operations to meet print specifications and production targets- Use PowerMILL to generate and simulate toolpaths, ensuring efficient, collision-free programs- Use Autodesk software (e.g., Inventor, Fusion 360 or AutoCAD) to work from CAD models and prepare files for CAM- Translate engineering drawings and GD&T into accurate machining strategies- Select tooling, cutting parameters, feeds and speeds; revise programs based on material and process feedback- Simulate, test and troubleshoot programs on machines; support setup and first-off inspections- Collaborate with production, quality and engineering to improve processes and reduce cycle times- Maintain program documentation and revision controlEssential skills and experience- Minimum 2 years' hands-on CNC programming experience- Proven experience using PowerMILL for CAM programming and simulation- Experience with Autodesk products for CAD/CAM workflows- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling and cutting parameters- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and apply GD&T- Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail and commitment to quality- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environmentDesirable- Experience with multi-axis (3-5 axis) machining- Familiarity with post-processing and G-code optimization- Practical machine shop experience (setup/operators) is a plusWhat we offer- Competitive salary and benefits package- Opportunity to work with modern CAM/CAD tools and precision machining equipment- Supportive team environment with opportunities for training and developmentTo applyPlease submit your CV and a brief summary of your relevant experience, highlighting PowerMILL and Autodesk work, along with your availability.
