Paralegal Residential Property

A well-established London law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Paralegal to support a Residential Property Partner with a varied caseload.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Residential Property Paralegal with previous conveyancing experience to join a busy, client-focused team and take on a varied role covering both legal and administrative support.

The Residential Property Paralegal role:

• Supporting freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
\n
• Assisting with remortgages and transfers of equity
\n
• Supporting fee earners with contracts, leases and completion statements
\n
• Preparing Land Registry applications and title searches
\n
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, solicitors and lenders
\n
• Managing file opening, closing and general file administration
\n
• Arranging appointments, meetings and diary management
\n
• Assisting with post-completion matters
\n
• Maintaining accurate electronic and physical files
\n
• Providing telephone and in-person client support
\n

The successful Residential Property Paralegal:

• Previous residential conveyancing experience is essential
\n
• Previous law firm experience required
\n
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
\n
• Excellent attention to detail
\n
• Good written and verbal communication skills
\n
• Strong client care skills
\n
• Experience using legal case management systems
\n
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
\n
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to take ownership
\n
• Comfortable working under pressure and managing competing priorities
\n
