We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled motor trade professional for the role of Workshop Controller at a flagship franchise dealership in Cardiff, South Wales. - Basic salary of £32,500 with a similar £39,500 OTE based on target achievement \n

- Lead and manage the workshop team, including 7 Vehicle Technicians and 2/3 Apprentices \n
- Oversee daily workshop operations ensuring efficiency and productivity \n
- Liaise with Aftersales Manager to implement and maintain best practices \n
- Manage customer vehicle progress liaising with service reception \n
- Ensure workshop standards adhere to manufacturer and HSO standards \n
- Monitor key performance indicators and promote continuous improvement \n
- Identify and arrange training needs for team members \n
- Effectively allocate work based on team skills and capacity \n
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality \n

- Proven experience in managing a successful automotive workshop for at least three years \n
- Prior experience within a franchise-approved dealership is highly preferred \n
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills \n
- Results-oriented with problem solving and decision-making abilities \n
- IT literate and familiar with dealership management systems \n
- Full UK driving licence with minimal points \n
- Reside within or near Cardiff or be able to commute easily \n
