HGV Technician

Duties of a HGV Technician :\n

\n
• Maintain and repair trucks, lorries, and other heavy commercial vehicles
\n
• Conduct diagnostics, testing, and carry out all necessary maintenance and repairs
\n
• Deliver high-quality customer service within a designated area as a HGV Technician
\n
• Complete all warranty, contract, and retail paperwork accurately
\n
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimise customer vehicle downtime
\n

Requirements of a HGV Technician :\n

\n
• City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance
\n
• Proven experience in servicing, repairing, and maintaining HGVs
\n
• Manufacturer training or current technical knowledge (desirable)
\n
• Strong attention to detail with an organised, methodical approach
\n
• Full UK driving licence; LGV/PSV licence advantageous
\n
