SITE MANAGER FREELANCE

Freelance Site Manager – Internal Fit-Out Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire Contract: 3-Month Temporary Contract Company: Synergy Personnel Ltd Synergy Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to work on a project in Portsmouth, Hampshire. We are looking for a Site Manager with previous experience managing internal fit-out projects, who will take responsibility for running the internal and fit-out side of the project through to completion. This is a 3-month temporary contract for the right candidate. The Role You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the internal and fit-out works, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to programme. Key responsibilities will include: * Managing the internal and fit-out works through to completion. * Leading and coordinating all trades on site. * Communicating effectively with subcontractors and site teams. * Organising labour, materials and deliveries. * Calling off materials and ensuring they are available when required. * Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and the wider project team. * Coordinating trades to ensure the works progress efficiently. * Monitoring progress against the programme. * Maintaining high standards of health and safety. * Resolving site issues and ensuring works remain on programme. * Providing strong leadership and communication across the site. The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will have: * Previous experience as a Site Manager on internal fit-out projects. * Strong leadership and communication skills. * Experience coordinating multiple trades. * Excellent organisational and planning skills. * A proactive approach to managing site activities. * SMSTS * CSCS * First Aid This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a project in Portsmouth on a 3-month temporary contract.
