Project Buyer (FTC)

A Leading Subcontractor is looking for a project buyer to assist procurement and expedite a range of materials categories, you will:

• Assist with the procurement and expediting of a wide range of construction materials.
\n
• Support site teams with operational procurement requirements.
\n
• Review and sign off invoices to ensure prompt payment scheme is adhered to.
\n
• Manage various internal and external stakeholder requirements.
\n

As part of a high calibre team you will be working on large projects, and deliver significant results for their clients.

A mixture of framework and project procurement to support regional and some small steel construction projects.

The role will be a mix of site based operational procurement and assisting the supply chain manager with strategic sourcing responsibilities.

Minimum of 2 years operational procurement experience from any leading construction or infrastructure contractor or subcontractor.

Ideally you will currently be working as a project buyer or an experienced buyer who has strong negotiation, supplier management and communication skills.
