SEND Teaching Assistants
\n\nHigh demand for 1:1 TA's to support children with SEND across mainstream Primary Schools across Lambeth from September

\n\nYou will work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with a variety of additional needs, helping to create a safe, engaging and nurturing learning environment where every child can succeed.
\n\nThe Role:

Provide 1:1 tailored support for your assigned pupil
\n - \n
Be confident to support SEND, including ASD, ADHD, Emotional Disregulation
\n - \n
Support learning, emotional regulation, and social development
\n - \n
Work alongside class teachers and SENCOs to implement EHCP target and support plan
\n - \n
Adapt learning resources to meet individual needs of the child
\n - \n
Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
\n
The Ideal Candidate:

- \n
At least 6 months experience supporting children with additional needs
\n - \n
Ideally hold minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3 desirable)
\n - \n
Has previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within SEND or inclusion
\n - \n
Confident supporting pupils with additional needs in a mainstream primary setting
\n - \n
Patient, empathetic, and committed to pupil progress and well-being
\n - \n
Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
\n - \n
Available Monday to Friday
\n
Pay: £95 per day for candidates with a minimum of 3 months experience supporting children or young people in an educational, care or SEND setting. £100 per day for candidates who hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and have over 12 months previous experience supporting prupils with SEND including ASC, ADHD, SEMH or SLD or experience with personal care.
