Credit Controller

Credit Controller | Leeds Hybrid | Full-time | Permanent Beyond Talent is currently supporting a well-established professional services business in Leeds who are looking to appoint an experienced Credit Controller to join their busy Collections team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong Credit Control experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, building relationships and taking ownership of their own ledger. The role: Manage your own portfolio of client accounts and proactively reduce outstanding debt Monitor payment terms and identify accounts requiring further action Build strong relationships with clients to support effective debt collection Maintain accurate and detailed records of all collection activity Develop an understanding of clients, their businesses and individual payment profiles Monitor and work towards agreed KPIs and collection targets Provide regular updates and relevant information to the wider Collections team Attend meetings with management to discuss outstanding debt and collection activity What we’re looking for: Previous experience within a Credit Control / Collections environment Strong telephone and written communication skills Confident negotiating with customers and internal stakeholders at all levels Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload Strong attention to detail and accuracy when dealing with financial information Comfortable working towards targets and deadlines Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word A proactive, professional and 'can-do' approach Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Someone who enjoys building relationships and working collaboratively as part of a wider team Why this role?
