Manufacturing Operative - uPVC Window Glazing Location: East Hull Pay: £12.71 per hour Overtime: £16.94 per hour Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday Shift: 6:00am-4:15pm Contract: Ongoing, with the potential to become permanent Start: Immediate Prestige Recruitment Specialists is recruiting reliable and hardworking Manufacturing Operatives for immediate factory-based opportunities within a busy uPVC window and door glazing department. This is a physically demanding role involving frequent heavy lifting, including handling glass and large uPVC window and door frames. Applicants must be comfortable completing manual work throughout the shift. Previous glazing experience is not required, as full training will be provided. However, applicants must have previous manufacturing, production or factory experience. The Role Fitting glass into uPVC windows and doors Handling and moving glass, frames and finished products Completing frequent heavy lifting throughout the shift Using hand tools safely and effectively Quality-checking finished windows and doors Working efficiently to meet production targets Following all health and safety procedures Maintaining a clean and organised working area What We're Looking For Previous manufacturing, production or factory experience is essential Physically fit and capable of frequent heavy lifting Reliable, punctual and committed to ongoing work Comfortable working in a busy production environment Good attention to detail Able to use hand tools or willing to learn Able to commute to East Hull for a 6:00am start What's on Offer £12.71 per hour Overtime paid at £16.94 per hour 39 hours of regular work each week Four-day working week Monday to Thursday, 6:00am-4:15pm Full training provided Ongoing employment Friendly team and excellent working environment Opportunity to secure a permanent positionIf you have solid manufacturing experience, are comfortable with frequent heavy lifting and can reliably attend a 6:00am start in East Hull, apply now for an immediate opportunity
