Private Client Tax Senior

A well-regarded firm of Chartered Accountants in Manchester is seeking an experienced Private Tax Senior to join their growing tax team, offering flexible working, a generous company pension, and much more. This role would suit an ambitious Private Client Tax professional looking to broaden their experience within a supportive and progressive practice. You will work closely with a varied client portfolio, gaining exposure to complex tax matters while continuing to build your technical and advisory skillset.

What is the day-to-day of the role:

• Manage a portfolio of private clients, including high net worth individuals, trusts, and partnerships
\n
• Prepare and review personal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC deadlines
\n
• Provide tax planning advice tailored to individual client circumstances
\n
• Liaise directly with clients and HMRC on tax queries and enquiries
\n
• Support junior team members with technical guidance and on the job training
\n

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• ATT and/or CTA qualified, or qualified by experience
\n
• Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
\n
• Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance and planning
\n
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
\n
• Ability to manage a busy and varied client portfolio independently
\n
