Our client, a reputable family-owned service centre located in Poole, Dorset, is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop. This is a premier opportunity for a skilled professional who excels in vehicle diagnostics and heavy mechanics. Benefits:\n

Duties of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:\n

\n
• Conduct comprehensive vehicle diagnostic assessments and identify faults accurately
\n
• Perform complex engine dismantling, rebuilds, and heavy mechanical repairs
\n
• Carry out gearbox, engine work, and engine assessments for diagnostic purposes
\n
• Utilise modern diagnostic tools and equipment effectively
\n
• Assist in ongoing technical development within the workshop
\n
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
\n

Requirements of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:\n

\n
• Proven experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician or in a similar role
\n
• Strong skills in engine dismantling and diagnostic procedures
\n
• Experience with engine repairs and other heavy mechanics
\n
• Ability to work independently and within a team
\n
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality work
\n
• Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance NVQ or equivalent qualification
\n
