Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Residential Conveyancer to join our Residential Property Department. This role involves managing a caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion and post-completion, ensuring a high-quality, client-focused service while complying with all legal, regulatory, and company requirements.
\nDay-to-day of the role:

- Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity, re-mortgages, new build properties, shared ownership transactions, Help to Buy, and Right to Buy transactions. \n
- Handle files from initial instruction through to completion and registration. \n
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors, and other third parties to ensure smooth transactions. \n
- Review contracts, title documents, searches, and mortgage offers, and prepare and issue legal documentation and reports on title. \n
- Provide accurate legal advice and regular updates to clients throughout the transaction. \n
- Ensure all transactions comply with regulatory requirements, anti-money laundering (AML) procedures, and industry best practices. \n
- Maintain accurate case records using the firm's case management system. \n
- Meet productivity, service level, and financial performance targets. \n
- Resolve client enquiries and issues promptly and professionally. \n
- Support business development activities and contribute to the growth of the residential property department. \n
Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Previous experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload. \n
- Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process and relevant property law. \n
- Excellent communication and client care skills. \n
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple transactions simultaneously. \n
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. \n
- Experience using conveyancing case management systems. \n
- Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach. \n
- Desirable: Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX), or experienced fee earner. Experience handling complex conveyancing transactions and knowledge of the Land Registry portal and lender requirements. \n
