\n Location: Warton, Prestwick or Brough\n
\n Contract Length: 12 months\n
\n Hybrid: onsite – Full time\n
\n 37 hours per week\n
\n Rate: £31.60 PAYE or £42.50 Umbrella inside IR35\n
Overview\n
\n This is an opportunity to work on complex aerospace projects, contributing to structural analysis activities across metallic and composite aircraft structures. You will play a key role in delivering high quality engineering solutions while supporting and developing junior engineers within the team.\n

Key Responsibilities\n
\n

- Structural sizing and analysis \n
- Finite Element Analysis \n
- Fatigue and damage tolerance assessments \n
- Producing engineering calculations using both traditional hand calculations and software tools \n
- Demonstrating compliance against certification and programme requirements \n
- Leading and delivering analysis tasks for yourself and other members of the team \n
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers \n
- Working closely with internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers to resolve technical challenges and improve ways of working \n
Key Skills\n
\n
- \n
- Degree qualified in a STEM discipline or equivalent industry experience \n
- Strong background in aircraft structural analysis \n
- Experience working with metallic and composite structures \n
- Finite Element Analysis experience \n
- Previous experience within a design or structures engineering environment \n
- Ability to operate across multidisciplinary engineering teams \n
- Strong reporting and presentation skills \n
