Service Manager

We are recruiting a Service Manager on behalf of a reputable family-run dealership group located in Rhondda Cynon Taff, South Wales. This individual will lead the service department, overseeing operational efficiency, team performance, and customer satisfaction.Benefits of a Service Manager:\n

• Salary up to £37,500 per annum, dependent on experience.

• Performance-based bonuses up to £10,000 per annum (£4,800 for target achievement).

• Working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with one in three Saturday mornings, 8:00am-1:00pm.

Duties of a Service Manager:\n

\n
• Manage daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards.
\n
• Lead a team comprising 3 technicians and 1 service advisor.
\n
• Support and support colleagues, fostering a positive working environment.
\n
• Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and maximise workshop capacity.
\n
• Maintain departmental policies to uphold reputation and customer satisfaction.
\n
• Potentially utilise Pinnacle DMS (training provided if necessary).
\n

Requirements of a Service Manager:\n

\n
• Proven experience as a Service Manager within a franchise-approved dealership is preferred.
\n
• Alternatively, individuals with experience as an Assistant Service Manager, Senior Service Advisor, or Workshop Controller seeking career progression will be considered.
\n
• Mechanical knowledge or a background in vehicle repair is advantageous but not essential.
\n
• IT literacy is required.
\n
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
\n
• Strong leadership, organisational skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
\n
• Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician is desirable but not essential.
\n
