Corporate Tax Senior Manager

A well-regarded firm of Chartered Accountants based in Gloucester is seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join their growing team, offering flexible working, a competitive company pension, and much more. This role would suit a technically strong Corporate Tax professional who is ready to step into a senior, client facing position, taking ownership of a varied portfolio while playing an active role in the development of junior team members and the wider growth of the tax department.

What is the day-to-day of the role:

• Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients, delivering high quality advisory and compliance services
\n
• Provide strategic tax planning advice on complex transactions, restructures, and reliefs
\n
• Review corporation tax computations and returns prepared by junior staff
\n
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
\n
• Support the mentoring, development, and technical training of the wider tax team
\n

Required Skills and Qualifications:

\n
• CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
\n
• Proven experience operating at Senior Manager level within corporate tax
\n
• Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
\n
• Strong technical knowledge across corporation tax legislation and planning
\n
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships
\n
