Hours: 40+ hours per week

Salary: £28,000 per annum (Up to £30,000+ depending on qualifications and experience)

The Role

\n

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in the daily life of the nursery, providing exceptional care and high-quality early education to our children.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n
    \n
  • Act as a Key Person to a group of children, tracking their progress, keeping learning journals up to date, and planning engaging activities suited to their individual needs.
  • \n
  • Implement and deliver the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework effectively.
  • \n
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and happy environment that promotes child development and independence.
  • \n
  • Build strong, positive relationships with parents, carers, and the wider nursery team.
  • \n
  • Adhere strictly to all safeguarding, health & safety, and hygiene policies and procedures.
  • \n

What We are Looking For

\n
    \n
  • Qualification: Full and relevant Level 3 Qualification in Early Years / Childcare (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent) is essential.
  • \n
  • Experience: Previous experience working within an early years setting / nursery.
  • \n
  • Knowledge: Sound working knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding practices, and child protection procedures.
  • \n
  • Attributes: Passionate about early years education, trustworthy, reliable, and a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • \n
\n

Note: An enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references will be required for this position.
