\nRole Title: PQE(Product Quality Engineering) AMS Engineer
\nJob Summary:
\nWe are seeking a skilled QA Automation and DevSecOps Engineer with expertise in AMP_L (Artifactory & Xray), CI/CD pipelines, and Eggplant Test Automation. The talent will be responsible for establishing and maintaining automated quality assurance processes, integrating testing into DevSecOps pipelines, and ensuring secure, compliant, and high-quality software releases across enterprise applications. The role requires close collaboration with development, infrastructure, release management, and business teams within the AMS environment. Candidates must be UK nationals and preferably have held SC clearance previously. Candidates must be based close to Stevenage, UK or willing to travel regularly to Stevenage. Should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\nQuality Engineering
\nDesign, develop, and maintain automated test solutions using Eggplant Functional and Eggplant DAI.
\nDevelop model-based, end-to-end, regression, and integration test suites.
\nExecute cross-platform validation across web, desktop, and integrated systems.
\nAnalyze test results and provide actionable quality metrics.
\nPerform functional, API, integration, and system validation.
\nParticipate in test planning, defect triage, and root-cause analysis activities.
\nDevSecOps & CI/CD Integration
\nIntegrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent platforms.
\nConfigure and maintain automated quality gates within release pipelines.
\nSupport continuous testing and shift-left quality practices. Collaborate with release and deployment teams to improve delivery reliability.
\nAMP_L Platform Support
\nSupport artifact repository governance using Artifactory. Assist with dependency management and package governance activities.
\nUse Xray-driven vulnerability and license compliance insights to support release readiness.
\nEnsure validated artifacts progress through controlled deployment workflows.
\nMandatory Skills
\nAMP_L Platform: JFrog Artifactory, JFrog Xray, artifact life cycle management, repository management, vulnerability and license compliance scanning.
\nEggplant Automation: Eggplant Functional, Eggplant DAI, model-based testing, AI-driven test automation, end-to-end test automation.
\nCI/CD & DevOps: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipeline development, automated deployment validation.
\nTesting: Functional testing, regression testing, API testing, integration testing, test strategy and planning.
\nProgramming/Scripting: Python or Java, PowerShell or Shell Scripting, REST API validation.
\nPreferred Skills
\nDevSecOps implementation experience.
\nDefence or aerospace domain exposure.
\nPerformance testing exposure.
\nContainerization exposure using Docker or Kubernetes.
\nAgile/Scrum delivery experience.
\nService Management/AMS Support exposure.
\nITIL awareness. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
\nLocation & Security Requirements
\nCandidate must be a UK National due to the nature of the customer environment and security requirements.
\nCandidates who have previously held Security Check (SC) Clearance or are eligible to obtain SC Clearance will be preferred.
\nCandidate should be based within reasonable commuting distance of Stevenage, United Kingdom, or be willing to travel regularly to the Stevenage office/customer site as required.
