Pay: £12.96 per hour | £16.70 per hour overtime

Driver Hire is recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driveron behalf of our client based in Marden, Tonbridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, hardworking driver looking for a long-term, stable role with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

Pay & Benefits\n

• £12.96 per hour
\n
• £16.70 per hour overtime (paid once monthly minimum hours have been completed)
\n
• £50 per night out
\n
• Monthly bonus of up to £130 (subject to company bonus criteria, including vehicle care and driving standards)
\n
• Temp to perm opportunity after a successful qualifying period
\n
• Full training provided, including product knowledge and warehouse processes
\n

Working Hours\n

\n
• Monday to Friday
\n
• Early starts from 4:00am onwards
\n
• Typically around 10-hour shifts (9 paid hours after a 1-hour unpaid break)
\n
• Regular nights out are required - typically 1-2 per week, although this can increase to up to 4 depending on workload
\n
• Occasional weekend flexibility may be required, including returning on a Saturday morning or travelling on a Sunday to be ready for a Monday delivery
\n

The Role\n

You'll be delivering bathroom and plumbing products to trade customers across Kent, London and the wider South East, (for nights out you will head towards Devon) This role involves driving both 7.5 tonne vehicles and company vans, depending on operational requirements.

Duties include:

• Multi-drop and bulk deliveries to trade customers
\n
• Loading and unloading bathroom and plumbing products
\n
• Manual handling and heavy lifting throughout the day
\n
• Providing excellent customer service
\n
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately and safely
\n

What We're Looking For\n

\n
• Commercial driving experience
\n
• A valid Category C1 (7.5T) licence
\n
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
\n
• Maximum of 3 penalty points
\n
• A reliable, hardworking attitude with excellent customer service skills
\n
• Physically fit and comfortable with regular heavy lifting
\n
• Flexible to complete nights out and occasional weekend work when required
\n
