\nSalary: £29,500 per annum (Negotiable/Higher depending on qualifications and experience)

\nWe are a warm, vibrant, and supportive nursery based in Staines-upon-Thames dedicated to providing exceptional early education and care. We are seeking an inspiring, proactive, and experienced Nursery Room Leader to take charge of one of our busy, fun-filled rooms and lead our
\ndedicated team of practitioners!
\n\nThe Role
\nAs a Room Leader, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of care and education within your designated room. You will lead by example, managing daily routines, inspiring your team, and ensuring every child in your care thrives.
\n\nKey Responsibilities:

- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support a team of practitioners, ensuring high standards of practice and positive team morale. \n
- Curriculum & Planning: Oversee the implementation of the EYFS framework, ensuring room planning is creative, engaging, and tailored to individual child development. \n
- Key Person System: Manage the room's key person system, overseeing tracking, assessments, and learning journeys. \n
- Parent Partnership: Build strong, open, and professional relationships with parents and carers, conducting regular feedback and handovers. \n
- Safety & Safeguarding: Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment, ensuring strict adherence to safeguarding, health & safety, and hygiene standards. \n
- Room Management: Oversee room admin, ratios, daily routines, and transition processes smooth for the children. \n
What We are Looking For

- Qualification: Full and relevant Level 3 Qualification in Early Years / Childcare (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3) or higher (Level 4/5 or BA Early Years). \n
- Experience: Proven experience as a Room Leader, Senior Practitioner, or experienced Level 3 Practitioner looking for a step up in a nursery setting. \n
- Knowledge: Expert knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding protocols, and Ofsted requirements. \n
- Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a passion for driving educational excellence. \n
Note: An enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references will be required for this position.
