Estates and Facilities Compliance Officer
\nLocation: Multi-site (Norwich, Easton, Paston)
\nReporting to: Facilities & Compliance Manager (Sam Burton-Browne)
\nContract: Full-time | Permanent
\nSalary: £36,701 - £38,738
\nRole Purpose
\nA newly created role to strengthen the College’s approach to statutory compliance, asset management, and planned maintenance.
\nYou will coordinate and monitor statutory inspections and servicing across a diverse and complex asset base, ensuring a consistent, compliant and well-governed process across both curriculum equipment and estate infrastructure.
\nThe Opportunity
\nWith the introduction of a new TopDesk asset management system, this role is central to:

- Creating a single, accurate asset register \n
- Improving visibility and compliance assurance \n
- Driving a structured, efficient approach to inspections and maintenance \n
- Reducing risk across all campuses \n
- \n
Key Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Asset & Compliance Management \n
- Maintain a centralised asset database across all departments and estates. \n
- Track statutory inspections and servicing requirements. \n
- Inspection & Maintenance Coordination \n
- Plan and coordinate inspection programmes with departments and E&F teams. \n
- Ensure timely completion and certification. \n
- Compliance Monitoring \n
- Review inspection reports and documentation. \n
- Identify risks, non-compliance, and required remedial actions. \n
- Reporting & Analysis \n
- Produce compliance reports, dashboards and trend analysis. \n
- Provide assurance to senior management. \n
- System Development (TopDesk) \n
- Support implementation and ongoing use of TopDesk. \n
- Improve data quality, workflows and reporting. \n

About You
\n- \n
- Experience in estates, facilities, engineering or technical compliance \n
- Knowledge of statutory inspection regimes (e.g. LOLER, electrical, pressure systems, or similar) \n
- Strong organisational and data management skills \n
- Ability to work across teams and coordinate activity effectively. \n
- Proactive, detail-focused, and solutions-driven \n
Experience with asset systems (e.g. TopDesk) desirable but not essential.
