A leading name in Children LawAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Children Law Accredited Solicitor with at least 3+ years’ PQE to join one of the leading Children Law practices nationally.This is a well-established and highly regarded team with a Band 1 Chambers ranking and Legal 500 recognition, handling complex, high-profile public and private children matters. The department has an excellent reputation for the quality of its work and is involved in some genuinely challenging and rewarding cases.This is a great opportunity for a solicitor who wants to develop their career within a specialist team where progression, training and personal development are genuinely invested in.The RoleYou will undertake a varied caseload covering:Public and private children workDomestic abuse mattersBoth legally aided and privately funded casesAdvocacy at all levels of courtProviding high-quality, client-focused advice and representationSupporting and developing more junior members of the teamKeeping up to date with developments in Children Law and related areasWorking within Legal Aid Agency requirements, including CCMSContributing to the continued development and profile of the departmentThere will also be opportunities to become involved in marketing, networking, events, articles and business development, should this be an area you enjoy.About YouWe are looking for a solicitor who can demonstrate:Children Law AccreditationAt least 3 years’ post-qualification experienceStrong experience across public and/or private children workGood advocacy experienceExperience of working within the Legal Aid framework and CCMSExcellent communication and client care skillsStrong organisation and time managementThe ability to work independently whilst contributing positively to a wider teamA genuine commitment to Children Law and continued professional developmentYou will ideally be someone who is enthusiastic about your work, keen to develop their practice and enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive team.Why Join?This is much more than simply another Children Law role.The team has a national reputation in this area, but retains a friendly and approachable culture.
