Part-Qualified Accountant - Practice

Part-Qualified Accountant (Practice Experience Required) We’re working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice who are looking to appoint a Part-Qualified Accountant to join their friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone actively studying towards ACCA/ACA (or equivalent) who is keen to build on their existing practice experience and continue developing in a hands-on, client-facing role.The RoleYou’ll gain exposure across a varied client portfolio and work closely with both clients and senior accountants. Responsibilities will include:\n

• Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
\n
• Assisting with management accounts and financial reporting
\n
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
\n
• Supporting personal and corporate tax compliance work
\n
• Liaising directly with clients to obtain and clarify financial information
\n
• Assisting with bookkeeping and wider day-to-day accounting duties
\n
• Supporting senior team members on a range of client assignments
\n

About YouOur client is looking for someone who is motivated, detail-focused, and keen to progress within practice. You will ideally have:\n

\n
• Part-qualified status (ACCA / ACA or equivalent) and actively studying
\n
• Or be QBE
\n
• Previous experience within an accountancy practice (essential)
\n
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards
\n
• Experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or similar
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
\n
• Confident communication skills with a professional approach
\n
• The ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
\n
