Job Description

We are delighted to be recruiting for our client based near Acle who are looking to recruit an Office Administrator. The role will be working with a great team in a spectacular office environment.

The role will involve the following.

  • Liaison and Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact, coordinating communication between clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • \n
  • Documentation and Compliance: Handle all necessary paperwork, including obtaining permits, licenses, and permissions
  • \n
  • Project Tracking and Monitoring: Track and monitor project timelines, progress access, and deliverables, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Data Management: Manage and update databases and registers, ensuring all project details and records are accurate and complete.
  • \n
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the project management teams, which may include arranging travel/accommodation, preparing handouts, and managing internal system training.
  • \n
  • Query Resolution: Manage queries via telephone or online portals and proactively work to resolve site issues efficiently.
  • \n
  • Checking purchase orders and resolving discrepancies.
  • \n
  • Dealing with supplier and internal finance queries
  • \n
  • Reviewing and cleansing job data before invoices are raised
  • \n

Essential Skills and Qualifications

    \n
  • Experience: Previous administrative experience in a busy office environment is often required
  • \n
  • Skills: Strong IT competence (especially Microsoft Office), excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and effective communication (written and spoken English) are essential.
  • \n
  • Attributes: The role requires an ability to work independently, manage conflicting demands, build relationships at all levels, and demonstrate a drive for continuous process improvement.
  • \n
  • Experience within the construction, utilities or a similar contracting environment would be particularly useful
  • \n
\n

Remuneration

\n
    \n
  • Salary £26,500
  • \n
  • 23 days Annual Holiday + Statutory Bank Holidays (3days to be taken at Xmas Shutdown)
  • \n
  • Monday – Friday (40hrs)
  • \n
  • Relevant Internal and external training as required
  • \n
