FP&A Analyst

Hybrid role – Central Birmingham (3 days on-site)Salary: £50,000 DOE

Overview

An established organisation is looking to appoint an FP&A Analyst to work closely with a senior Finance Business Partner, providing commercial insight and financial support across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own the production of monthly management information, including analysis and commentary
\n
• Track performance against budget and forecast, identifying trends and cost drivers
\n
• Support annual budgeting and rolling forecast cycles
\n
• Work directly with budget holders to challenge assumptions and improve financial understanding
\n
• Prepare clear, meaningful insight for non-finance stakeholders
\n
• Assist with business cases, investment analysis and strategic projects
\n
• Improve FP&A processes, models and reporting tools
\n
• Ensure financial data accuracy and consistency across systems
\n

What We’re Looking For

\n
• Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA), or FP&A experience
\n
• Background in professional services, practice, or another people-cost-led environment
\n
• Experience in FP&A, management accounting or finance business partnering
\n
• Confident Excel and financial modelling skills
\n
• Comfortable working with senior stakeholders outside finance
\n
• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting
\n
