We are delighted to be partnering with a leading, award-winning professional services organisation to recruit a Senior HR Advisor to join their Belfast team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a high-performing organisation and play a key role in delivering a proactive, commercially focused HR service.

\n

Working closely with the Belfast partners and wider HR Business Partner teams, the successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor across the full employee lifecycle, supporting managers and employees across a broad range of people matters. This role also offers the opportunity to contribute to wider firmwide HR projects and initiatives.

The Role

\n
    \n
  • Reporting into the wider HR function, you will provide hands-on HR support to the Belfast office
  • \n
  • Acting as the first point of contact and trusted advisor to partners, managers and employees on all HR-related matters
  • \n
  • Providing guidance on employee relations matters, performance management, HR policies and best practice
  • \n
  • Supporting managers with performance reviews, probation processes and employee development
  • \n
  • Managing employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding and probation reviews
  • \n
  • Supporting recruitment activity alongside the Talent Acquisition team, including stakeholder management and role requirements
  • \n
  • Managing flexible working arrangements, parental leave processes and employee wellbeing initiatives
  • \n
  • Supporting absence management processes including return-to-work meetings, occupational health referrals and reasonable adjustments
  • \n
  • Working closely with People Operations teams to ensure accurate employee records, contracts and payroll changes
  • \n
  • Producing HR reports, management information and insights to support decision making
  • \n
  • Supporting annual appraisal, salary review, bonus and promotion processes
  • \n
  • Contributing to wider HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • \n

The Person

\n
    \n
  • Previous experience working in an HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor role
  • \n
  • Experience within professional services/ financial services/ legal environment would be highly desirable
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, employee relations and employment best practice
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • \n
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • \n
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong numeracy skills
  • \n
  • Experience using HR systems and employee databases
  • \n
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
  • \n
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with a genuine interest in supporting people and culture initiatives
  • \n
