Kitchen Fitter

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Kitchen Fitter to join a well-established building and maintenance contractor delivering planned kitchen refurbishment programme on void social housing properties across Daventry.This is a temporary opportunity offering regular work with the chance to join a busy team delivering high-quality kitchen replacement programmes within the social housing sector.The role involves working in occupied properties, carrying out full kitchen strip-outs, installations, and associated carpentry works. You'll work alongside electricians, plumbers, plasterers, decorators, and flooring contractors to ensure kitchens are completed to a high standard and handed over on time.We welcome applications from Kitchen Fitters, Kitchen Installers, Carpenter Joiners, Joiners, Multi Skilled Carpenters, Multi Trade Operatives, Property Maintenance Operatives, and Carpenters with experience working within social housing, planned maintenance, or domestic property refurbishment.Key Responsibilities:Carry out full kitchen strip-outs, including removing units, tiles, flooring, and associated fixturesInstall floor protection and maintain excellent dust control throughout works in empty homesReceive and check kitchen deliveries to ensure all materials are present before installationComplete full kitchen installations, including units, worktops, plinths, splashbacks, and finishing itemsReplace skirting boards and fit new window boards where requiredPrepare subfloors using latex on solid floors or 6mm ply on timber floors ready for flooring contractorsCarry out general carpentry works, including doors, skirting, and day-to-day repairs across multiple sites when requiredWork closely with other trades to ensure programmes remain on scheduleMaintain high standards of workmanship, housekeeping, and health and safety at all timesRequirements:Previous experience working as a Kitchen Fitter or Kitchen InstallerProven experience completing kitchen refurbishments and installationsCompetent carrying out kitchen rip-outs and installations within occupied propertiesExperience preparing subfloors for flooring contractorsStrong attention to detail and ability to complete work to a high standardFlexible to undertake general carpentry works across different sites when requiredFull UK driving licenceBased within, or able to travel across, Northampton and Milton KeynesHealth & safety conscious with the ability to complete relevant compliance requirements, including manual handling, asbestos awareness, and face-fit/RPE requirements where applicableBenefits:£22 per hourWeekly pay (CIS paymenst available)Materials delivered to site40 hours per weekLocal, long term workConsistent pipeline of work with the potential for long-term or permanent opportunitiesIf you're interested in this Kitchen Fitter role, please apply online or call Alex on 07488 866 703TPBN1_UKTJ
