Connect Appointments is recruiting a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer for a temporary position within a high-volume production facility in Kirkcaldy.
\nThis is a hands-on role where you'll have real ownership of keeping the plant running and the space to shape the preventative maintenance programme.
\nWhat's on offer?

- Ongoing temporary position \n
- 42,000 per annum \n
- 40 hours per week on a weekly rotating 3-shift pattern: \n
- Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm \n
- Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm \n
- Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am \n

As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include:
\n- \n
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs across electrical motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, conveyors and production equipment \n
- Planning and delivering the preventative maintenance programme to minimise machine downtime \n
- Responding to breakdowns quickly and efficiently to keep production running \n
- Supporting factory operatives with machine changeovers and preparation of change parts \n
- Maintaining accurate maintenance documentation and managing critical spares \n
To be considered as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you will need:

- A time-served electrical or mechanical engineering background is essential \n
- A Higher National Certificate level qualification is desirable \n
- Previous experience in a food or FMCG manufacturing environment is desirable \n
- Strong fault-finding skills across multiple engineering disciplines \n
- A full UK driving licence and good physical fitness \n
