PDI Technician

We are recruiting for a PDI Technician on behalf of a well-established client in Edinburgh and Midlothian. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled PDI Technician to join a reputable dealership group that values technician expertise and offers career development.Benefits:\n

• Monday to Friday working hours from 8:30am to 5:00pm

Duties as a PDI Technician:\n

\n
• Perform detailed pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles to ensure quality standards are met
\n
• Diagnose vehicle faults proactively and accurately
\n
• Conduct safe, efficient, and cost-effective servicing and repairs
\n
• Collaborate effectively within the workshop team to deliver exceptional customer service
\n
• Maintain meticulous records of repair and service work
\n
• Complete all workshop documentation accurately and promptly
\n
• Uphold the professional image of the workshop while building positive relationships with colleagues and customers
\n

Requirements:\n

\n
• At least an NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or an equivalent qualification
\n
• Proven experience in vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs
\n
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude
\n
• Willingness to undertake manufacturer-specific training programmes
\n
• Full UK driving licence
\n
