Production Events Operations Manager
Job Description
Hybrid working: 4 days on site
\nBespoke motorsport hospitality structures and large-scale exhibition builds across multiple sectors, and the operational function that links workshop floor to site delivery at every scale. A Production Events Operations Manager role where the portfolio is blue-chip, the schedules are unforgiving, and the scope to shape how operations runs is genuine.
\n- High-profile motorsport and exhibition portfolio for your CV
\n- Operational leadership spanning workshop, warehouse and site
\n- Owner actively backing investment in team growth
\n- Diverse project scope across hospitality, exhibitions and live events
\n- Stable repeat programmes providing genuine operational continuity
\nThe Company
\nThis is a boutique experiential agency with over two decades of custom build and bespoke fabrication behind them, trusted by global blue-chip brands. Motorsport hospitality accounts for the core of the business, built on long-term repeat programmes, while the non-motorsport side, spanning exhibitions and live events at serious scale, is growing fast. They are mid-restructure and investing deliberately in the people and processes that will take them forward, which makes a Production Events Operations Manager hire one of the most significant they are making right now.
\nThe Role
\nThe Production Events Operations Manager sits at the link between production, workshop, warehouse and site, ensuring every project is operationally ready from manufacture through to installation, and that site resourcing runs smoothly across repeat programmes.
\n- Plan and oversee internal manufacturing schedules across concurrent projects
\n- Prepare workshop quotations and procure materials to budget
\n- Coordinate workshop foreman and freelance team resources
\n- Manage crew logistics, labour scheduling and accommodation planning for site delivery
\n- Monitor workshop costs, utilisation and operational performance
\n- Act as the operational link between production, workshop, warehouse and site teams
\n- Identify and implement process improvements across workshop and site operations
\nThe Candidate
\nA strong Production Events Operations Manager in this role will have a solid background in workshop or manufacturing operations management, with hands-on experience of project coordination, logistics planning and procurement or cost control. You have managed site or crew operations in a pressured environment where deadlines are fixed and quality is non-negotiable.
\nSubcontractor and supplier management, experience on large-scale experiential or exhibition builds, and team leadership or foreman coordination are all beneficial but not essential. Backgrounds in events, experiential production or manufacturing operations are equally welcome, and the right Production Events Operations Manager will bring the drive to help shape a function that is actively evolving.
\nIn return you will step into a genuine operational leadership position across a portfolio that ranges from motorsport hospitality to large-scale exhibitions, with an owner who is actively funding the next phase of growth. This role is being filled now, so submit your application to be considered.
