Assembly Operative

As an Assembly Operative, you’ll work within a busy manufacturing environment where the standard of your work directly contributes to the quality of products leaving the site. You’ll be involved in hands-on production work including assembling components, preparing materials, trimming leather and fabrics and checking your own work against the required specifications.What’s in it for you\n

Your responsibilities as Assembly Operative\n

\n
• Assemble and trim seats accurately to drawing specifications
\n
• Use manual and electric tools safely to complete production tasks
\n
• Check completed work to ensure required quality standards are achieved
\n
• Prepare materials ready for the production process
\n
• Trim leather and fabric components accurately
\n
• Identify quality issues before products progress through production
\n

What we’re looking for in a Assembly Operative\n

\n
• Previous assembly, manufacturing or production experience
\n
• Experience using manual and electric tools
\n
• Ability to work accurately from drawings or specifications
\n
• Experience with trimming, fabrics, leather or similar materials would be advantageous
\n
• Understanding of manufacturing quality control processes
\n

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am–5:00pm; Friday, 8:00am–1:30pm.
