Dental Hygienist – Littleton, CO

Our organization has been a trusted, patient-centered dental practice in South Denver since the late 1970s. With a foundation built on integrity, quality care, and strong patient relationships, we prioritize the well-being of our patients over production metrics. Utilizing modern technology and adhering to ethical standards, we deliver exceptional dental care without unnecessary treatments. We are currently in search of a caring and meticulous Dental Hygienist to become a part of our collaborative team.

Work Schedule
Full-time (4 days a week)

  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (lunch break from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
  • Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (no lunch break)

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct dental cleanings, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing
  • Perform periodontal evaluations and maintain accurate charting
  • Capture and analyze dental radiographs
  • Provide preventive treatments such as fluoride applications and sealants
  • Recognize signs of oral diseases and relay findings to the dentist
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive measures
  • Discuss and reinforce proposed treatment plans
  • Keep precise and comprehensive patient records
  • Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards
  • Ensure sterilization of instruments and maintain a clean operatory
  • Work with the team to facilitate smooth patient flow

Qualifications

  • Valid Dental Hygienist license in Colorado (mandatory)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Capability to administer local anesthesia
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on patient care
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Familiarity with Curve software is advantageous
