LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing Tampa law firm to find an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy team handling complex construction defect and insurance recovery matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional who enjoys working in a fast paced litigation environment and plays a critical role in moving cases efficiently from inception through resolution.

What You'll Do
  • Prepare, edit, and finalize pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents.
  • Coordinate and file documents electronically in Florida state and federal courts.
  • Manage attorney calendars, monitor deadlines, and schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, and meetings.
  • Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all records and documents remain up to date.
  • Assist attorneys with discovery, document production, and overall case management.
  • Support trial preparation, including coordinating exhibits, witnesses, and case materials.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, experts, and vendors.
  • Track litigation deadlines and help ensure compliance with court rules and scheduling requirements.
What We're Looking For
  • At least 3 years of litigation legal assistant experience in a law firm setting.
  • Strong understanding of Florida court procedures and e-filing systems.
  • Experience supporting litigation matters through various stages of the legal process.
  • Prior exposure to construction defect, insurance coverage, property damage, or commercial litigation is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional support.

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
