Stand Up Forklift Operator / Cherry Picker


We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Warehouse Picker/Warehouse Associate at our Distribution Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrate basic material handling, packaging, and warehouse equipment operation skills.
  • Fill customer orders using established picking processes to meet production and accuracy objectives.
  • Safely and efficiently operate a reach lift and order picker to pick items from warehouse shelves.
  • Use the WMS RF scanner to complete the picking process.
  • Perform basic calculations using math skills.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Operate computers and company software.
  • Work effectively and communicate well with co-workers.
  • Treat co-workers with respect.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Prior warehouse experience is highly desired.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift.
  • Experience operating a reach lift (forklift with an extending/reaching mechanism) and order picker (elevating platform used to pick items from warehouse shelves) safely and efficiently.
  • Must not be afraid of heights and must be comfortable working approximately 15–20 feet in the air on a forklift/order picker.
  • Ability and willingness to operate warehouse equipment at elevated heights, including working from an elevated platform while picking products from warehouse shelving.
  • Ability to lift and palletize various products weighing 50 pounds or more repeatedly.
  • Ability to safely operate equipment at heights of up to 24 feet.
  • Ability to follow all safety procedures and maintain awareness while operating equipment at elevated heights.
