\nYou have found your path to a career in maintenance. This is an entry level Maintenance Technician position, and we are looking for people that enjoy working with hand tools and are ready to make a career out of that passion. You bring your positive “Can Do” attitude and we will provide the training and experience needed to turn your passion into a career!
\nWhat you bring to the table:
\nA mechanical aptitude, and desire to learn about hydraulics, electrical, and industrial batteries, including watering, washing, testing and repair.
\nWillingness to be trained to work with electricity.
\nWillingness to be trained to use vendor manuals and procedures to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
\nWillingness to enroll in Company provided courses to improve your knowledge base.
\nAbility to be trained and MHE certified to operate power material handling equipment, i.e., Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack, etc.
\nAn inclusive approach with your colleagues and customers to forge strong relationships and foster collaboration to resolve issues.
\nAbility to demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving.
\nAbility to adopt our safety procedures quickly and ensure safe work practices.
\nAbility to be comfortable working in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature Variations.
\nBasic English language skills (both verbal and written)
\n\nWhat’s needed- Basic Qualifications:
\nA high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
\nAbility to pass a drug screen to the extent legally permissible
\nAs a Full-Time associate, you must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; additional overtime hours will be required based on business need
\nAbility to work at heights up to 40 feet or more as needed
\nAn ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand
\nMust be at least 18 years of age
