Personal Injury Paralegal

Chicago, IL (Onsite 5 Days per Week)

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Personal Injury Paralegal for a growing plaintiff-side litigation practice in Chicago. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional with at least two years of personal injury experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing cases from inception through resolution.

A significant portion of this position will focus on written discovery , including drafting and responding to discovery requests, compiling records, and managing case documentation throughout the litigation process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage personal injury cases from intake through trial or settlement
  • Draft and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories , requests for production, and other litigation documents
  • Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation
  • Coordinate and collect medical records, bills, and supporting documentation
  • Maintain case files and litigation calendars, including critical deadlines
  • Prepare pleadings, motions, and correspondence for attorney review
  • Communicate with clients, medical providers, experts, and opposing counsel
  • Assist with trial preparation, settlement documentation, and case resolution
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ years of Personal Injury Paralegal experience
  • Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and court rules
  • Experience handling personal injury matters from intake through trial or settlement
  • Demonstrated experience drafting interrogatories and managing written discovery
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Paralegal Certificate from an accredited paralegal program is ideal
