Quick Facts Location: 707 14th Street, Baraboo, WI 53913 Start Date: 11/01/2026 End Date: 01/31/2027 Shift: 24-hour shifts (07:00 - 07:00), combination of weekdays and weekends Hours/Week: 40+ hours Employment Type: Contract Licenses/Certifications: MD or DO, BLS, ACLS, NRP, Wisconsin license or IMLC accepted Experience: 1-2 years preferred in labor and delivery, routine labor management, C-section, vaginal deliveries, postpartum rounding Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $253.50 Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Provide labor, delivery, and postpartum care for obstetric patients Perform routine labor management, C-sections, and vaginal deliveries Conduct postpartum rounding and minor emergency gynecological consults as needed Support hospital OB/GYN department's patient care standards Work independently during 24-hour shifts, with support from unit staff Float to other local sites as needed, including Janesville, Baraboo, Monroe Clinic, and busy Madison facility Maintain documentation using EPIC EMR system What You Need Valid MD or DO license; IMLC accepted BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required 1-2 years of OB/GYN experience in labor & delivery preferred Strong skills in obstetric procedures and postpartum care Ability to work independently during long shifts About the Assignment Join a reputable hospital in Baraboo, Wisconsin, primarily focusing on labor and delivery services with a patient volume of approximately 196 births per year.
