Job Description
X-Ray Technologist Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-Ray Technologist to join our Radiology team in Brooklyn. In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established clinical protocols. You will play a critical role in patient care by ensuring high-quality imaging, maintaining equipment standards, and supporting physicians with accurate diagnostic information. Available Schedules\n

- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians and healthcare providers. \n
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly. \n
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment in accordance with hospital policies and safety standards. \n
- Ensure patient safety by following radiation protection protocols and using appropriate shielding techniques. \n
- Review images for quality and accuracy before submitting them for radiologist interpretation. \n
- Maintain accurate patient records, imaging documentation, and exam logs. \n
- Assist patients with mobility limitations and provide compassionate patient care. \n
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment. \n
- Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions or maintenance needs. \n
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality. \n
- Follow infection control, hospital safety, and regulatory compliance guidelines. \n
- Assist with other imaging procedures and departmental duties as needed. \n
Skills & Qualifications:

- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. \n
- ARRT certification and current state licensure (as required). \n
- Knowledge of radiographic procedures, anatomy, and radiation safety. \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. \n
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment. \n
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. \n
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and PACS systems. \n
- Ability to lift, position, and transport patients when necessary. \n
