Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.br brJob Requirements:brbrEducation and Work Experience:br ul liAssociate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred/li /ulbrLicenses/Certifications:br ul liRegistered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required/li liAdvanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA/li liBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required/li liVenipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR/li /ulbrFacility Specific License/Certifications:br ul liBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required/li liARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Required/li /ulbrEssential Functions:br ul liAssesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric./li liProduces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation./li liUses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location./li liMaintains accurate records, files and billing information. Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations./li liPerforms routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory./li liPerforms other job-related duties as assigned./li /ulbrOrganizational Requirements:br brAdventist Health is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our associates and patients.
