Chemical Packaging Operator II / Payrate: $23/hr

Title: Chemical Packaging Operator II

Location: 3500 Dekalb Street St. Louis MO 63118
Shift: 1st Shift - M - F (6 am – 2.30 pm) - $22.50/hr

2nd shift - M -T(2:00pm-12:30am) - $20- $23/hr

Good to have:

• Previous SAP experience / familiarity, previous ISO / Pharma / biotech experience

Responsibilities:

• To stage, fill (manually or semi-automatically), cap, label and over pack liquid, powder and hyophilized products per approved packing specifications with utilizing all required safety equipment.
• Complete appropriate packaging documentation per ISO procedures and deliver products to inventory.
• Fill, cap, and label chemical products.
• Follow all quality and safety procedures.
• Support quality systems.
• Trains others and work in a team setting.

Work experience/skills:

• 5-6 years in chemical or packaging environment mixing, labeling, working chemicals
• Must be good/understand basic math Basic data entry Basic computer skills and literacy
• Willingness to learn
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Standing for extended periods of time and repetitive movements
• Occasionally lift and or move up to 50 Ibs with lifting equipment.
• Ability to see close and long distance
• Required to wear air helmet, mask, safety shoes, apron rubber and tyvek suits, protective gloves and safety glasses/goggles while performing in this position

Education:

• GED or High School Diploma
