Rebar Fabricator

Our client, an industry leader in construction and manufacturing, is seeking a Rebar Fabricator to join their team. As a Rebar Fabricator, you will be part of the production department supporting the rebar fabrication process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Rebar Fabricator

Location: Des Moines, IA

Pay Range: $20

Shift: 7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday

What's the Job?

• Examine specifications of customer orders using drawings or blueprints to determine finished item characteristics and machine setup requirements.
• Pull, cut, bend, and weld rebar assemblies according to engineering prints to support production schedules.
• Create pull-pins for the cover casting department and stage rebar materials for efficient handling.
• Assist in placing and positioning metal bars for bending operations, ensuring proper alignment and safety.
• Package finished products for shipping, including installing protective devices to prevent damage during transport.

What's Needed?

• Manufacturing and General Labor experience required.
• Ability to interpret drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to pass a 7 year background check and drug test.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
