Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License required
  • SLP-CCC certification preferred
  • Experience with elementary school populations (preferred for Hasty Elementary)
  • Experience with low-incidence/specialized student populations, including AAC, preferred for Stoner Thomas
  • Strong skills in evaluation, IEP development, and delivery of direct therapy
  • Flexible, collaborative, and passionate about student progress

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct direct therapy, evaluations, and IEP management for students in K–5 or K–12 settings
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams
  • Work within traditional elementary or specialized school environments
  • Provide adaptive and specialized communication support as needed
