Quick Facts Location: 5400 Clearfork Main Street, Fort Worth, TX 76107 Start Date: 09/01/2026 End Date / Duration: 03/02/2027 Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday Hours per week: 40 hours Employment Type: Temporary/Contract Licensure/Certifications: Texas license (pending acceptable), Board Certification preferred Experience: 1-2 years surgical experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $133.38/hour Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time per applicable laws Travel, licensure, and certification reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Assist in a variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties including Urology, Gyn Onc, Endo Surgery, and Otology Serve as primary first assist during surgeries (100%) and manage patient care in the OR Collaborate closely with surgical teams and ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes Follow scheduled OR blocks, with no on-call duties Conduct inpatient rounds and participate in perioperative patient management where applicable What You Need Texas licensure (pending acceptance, can request emergency privileges) Certified Physician Assistant with current CAQ or eligible for licensure in Texas 1+ years of surgical first assisting experience preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment This ongoing surgical PA assignment is at a leading facility in Fort Worth, Texas, providing specialized surgical care in multiple disciplines. You will work in scheduled OR blocks from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with no call responsibilities, enabling a consistent routine. The team includes experienced surgeons and APPs, with robotic case percentages varying by specialty—from 30% in Urology to 80% in Gyn Onc.
