Clinical Social Worker, LICSW, Waltham 32 hours

Position Overview

This is a 32-hour per week LICSW social work role that will deliver a variety of clinical social work services and case management at our organization’s Waltham Satellite, affiliated with a prominent children’s hospital. This facility provides outpatient services across more than 35 medical specialties, along with imaging and laboratory capabilities. The social worker will cater to the entire site and all specialties.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conducting psychosocial screenings and assessments
• Providing counseling, crisis intervention, and facilitating access to hospital and community resources
• Serving as a resource for information and referrals, contributing to program development, and offering psychosocial consultation to multidisciplinary teams

QualificationsEducation

• A Master’s degree in social work is required, along with LICSW licensure in Massachusetts

Experience

• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience in a medical setting and familiarity with child protection issues is advantageous

Licensure

• LICSW licensure in the state of Massachusetts is mandatory

Working Conditions

This position requires 32 hours of work each week, is entirely onsite, and is located in Waltham (with free parking available!).
