Overview:
\n Our oncology practice in Melbourne, FL is seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse to provide outpatient chemotherapy care. Our role offers a consistent weekday schedule with no after-hours or holiday shifts. Immediate start is available for the right candidate.

Position Offers:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday
\n
• No after-hours shifts or holidays
\n
• Competitive compensation: $40–45 per hour (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Prepare and mix chemotherapy medications in accordance with established protocols
\n
• Obtain and record patient vital signs prior to, during, and following chemotherapy infusions
\n
• Initiate chemotherapy infusions and ensure accurate administration of treatment
\n
• Closely monitor patients during infusion and immediately post-infusion for response and tolerance
\n
• Provide patient and family education on treatment plans, side effects, symptom management, and infection prevention
\n
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and the interdisciplinary care team to support individualized treatment plans
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care, interventions, and patient responses in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
\n
• Implement infection prevention and control measures specific to immunocompromised oncology patients
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• Current, unrestricted Florida RN license or compact state eligibility
\n
• Minimum 1 year of oncology nursing experience, including chemotherapy mixing
\n
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification preferred; willingness to obtain oncology specialty certification is an advantage
\n
