Participates in home environmental assessments, assisting with rehab care plan development. Works under minimal supervision and may mentor and train staff on technical skills.br brJob Requirements:brbrEducation and Work Experience:br ul liHigh School Education/GED or equivalent: Required/li liAssociate's/Technical Degree in occupational therapy or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred/li liTwo years' rehabilitative services experience or equivalent education: Preferred/li liOne year's occupational therapy experience: Preferred/li /ulbrLicenses/Certifications:br ul liOccupational Therapy Assistant licensure in all applicable states of practice: Required/li liCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required/li liValid Driver's License (DL) and must be at least 21 years of age or older: Required/li /ulbrEssential Functions:br ul liImplements treatment plans and selects modalities to meet established goals./li liTransports, transfers, and assists patients in and out of wheelchairs, beds, tilt tables and stretchers while ensuring safety and minimizing undue patient discomfort.
